She celebrates over 19 years serving North Florida.

Beth graduated from Anderson University with a bachelors degree in Education.  After 10 years working in the medical-legal profession, she began her studies in Chinese Medicine to share its benefits with others. She is a graduate of the Southeastern School of Neuromuscular Massage Therapy where she received specialized training in various massage techniques. In 1996, Beth graduated from a 3 year master's level acupuncture physician training program at the Mandarin School of Chinese Medicine. Additional Information

In these appointments, we address your health concerns, your history, and we discuss lifestyle factors contributing to your problems. Establishing a personal connection and starting the educational process are the main focus of this time spent together.

I offer full Chinese medical diagnostic consultations for complex diseases, brief exams for pain conditions and economy evaluations for those on a tight budget. These services range from $20 - 55, usually a one time charge. We determine which type of consultation is best for you during our first telephone consultation, which is always free.

Chinese herbal medicine is very sophisticated, well researched and documented. Although I am conservative regarding the use of herbs, especially mixing with pharmaceutical drugs, there are many circumstances where Chinese herbs can save the day. Herbal consults are included in the initial evaluation. Prescriptions cost about $26.00 per month.

Specialities

A large majority of my fertility clients end up preggers so I get this question daily. There are points that are not safe during pregnancy. An experienced, licensed acupuncture physician who specializes in women's health should know which points are safe and which points are not. This is an area however where I see Chiropractors and Medical Doctors trying to step in. Bad idea. They are NOT TRAINED in pregnancy acupuncture. It is a specialty training.

There are some occasions where even regular acupuncturists without experience could error. Over the past 18 years I have developed a very conservative, effective and safe acupuncture protocol for pregnancy. No, I will not share it with your chiropractor!!!!! It's be better to get no treatment at all then to have an unqualified person doing it.
