HATHA YOGA - This type of yoga is a practice in which we force the energy levels and harmonise a balance. It is a combination of various components such as centering, relaxing, perfect breathing, pranayama, stretching postures using joints and gland movements, different asanas and meditation. It is a form of the himalayan style of yoga.
SIVANANDA YOGA - Sivananda method of yoga includes proper exercise mainly focusing on 12 poses. It also focuses on proper breathing, relaxation and appropriate vegetarian diet. It also proposes a positive thinking approach and dhyana. The emphasis is given to 12 differnt postures or asanas in Sivananda Yoga which are Headstand, Shoulderstand, Plow, Fish, Seated Forward Bend, Cobra, Locust, Bow, Seated Spinal Twist, Crow, Standing Forward Bend and the Triangle
AYANGER YOGA - According to Iyengar Yoga there are 14 different types of Pranayamas and over 200 classical yoga Asanas. Asanas are the postures and Pranayamas are the breathe control procedures. In Iyengar Yoga the body alignment is very important and each asana must be performed effortlessly. In this different supportive elements are used so that the body is comfirtable. It is practiced according to the anatomical alignment of a person as the anatomy differs from individual to individual. In this type of yoga the technique, sequence and timing is given precedence over all.
ASHTHANGA YOGA - This type of yoga is a form of happy living which means to lead a stress free living. It has eight fold paths which when followed religiously leads ultimate wellness. The eight steps are as follow: Yumas (The dont's), Niyamas (The does), Asanas (Poses to keep the body healthy), Pranayama (The control of breathing process, a set of breathing excercises), Prayahara (Controling the senses), Dharna (Concentration), Dhyana (Meditation), Samadhi (Liberation).
