Activities : Activities in the ashram include programs in meditation, Self- Transformation, Science of Joyful Living, silence retreats, the art of living and being, and yoga psychology. Spiritual guidance is available for those aspirants seeking instruction in meditation. Kirtan, also known as sankirtan, is the call-and-response chanting of the myriad names of the Lord. Kirtan is offered in the ashram at scheduled events with local and guest artists. Some outstanding artists visiting the ashram in the past include Vaiyasaki Das, L.N. Tiwari, and Ragani.
Facilities : The ashram offers single, double, and dormitory accommodation. Rooms have two beds and an attached bath. Dormitories have four beds per room with an attached bath (men and women separate). Please specify if you cannot climb stairs. Single occupancy is limited and may be unavailable for some programs. Three delicious vegetarian meals are served daily. Books and CDs by Swami Rama, Swami Veda, and others are available in our bookstore/gift shop, as well as assorted gift items. Telephone and internet facility are also available in the reception office. A library is available for browsing books, or viewing DVD lectures.
