Dr. Sr. Austin belongs to congregation of sisters of charity. She completed her degree from V.P.S.V. Ayurveda College, Kottakkal and M.D. (Ay) from Govt. College of Indian Medicine, Mysore, in 1988. She joined here as Research Officer and Consultant Physician. She has mastered in many foreign languages which facilitated her in spreading the science of ayurveda in foreign countries. She has worked in Germany as Ayurvedic Research Officer and is a regular visitor to Europe.
