Born in India, Urja is a certified Ayurvedic Doctor. She graduated from from Pune university completing the five year graduation in BAMS. First six years she practiced Ayurvedic medicine at Osho commune in Pune. In 2000 she together with Chetan founded Raso Vai Ayurveda. She is the consulting physician and the teacher at Raso Vai center in Goa. She for years has been offering treatments, medicines, panchkarma and trainings in the various programs of Raso Vai Ayurveda at various other places too.
