Yoga- The science and art of healthy living – physically, mentally, morally and spiritually. It aims at the development of a perfect balance between the body and the mind, which eventually permits the individual seeker’s union with the Divine. It does not matter what you call that Divine - God, Allah, Ishwara or by some other name. Anything that brings you into a closer understanding with that higher Power – which is greater than yourself – is Yoga.
Meditation- An ordinary person may consider meditation as a worship or prayer. But it is not so. Meditation means awareness. Whatever you do with awareness is meditation. "Watching your breath" is meditation; listening to the birds is meditation. As long as these activities are free from any other distraction to the mind, it is effective meditation.
Naturopathy - In many aspects, naturopathy is really common sense applied to health. The basic principle is that we have tremendous innate healing abilities, and our systems will always attempt to overcome an Illness and restore balance. In naturopathy, these attempts are encouraged by utilizing such natural factors such as diet, exercise and relaxation, fresh air and the use of water (hydrotherapy). The general thrust of treatment is really to shift responsibility for health back to ourselves as far as possible, and equally to advocate prevention rather than cure.
Panchakarma - According to Ayurveda, diseases formed in the body are due to the formation of toxins, or ama. Regular cleansing of the body by removing this ama is recommended. Panchkarma is this cleansing process which helps in the elimination of ama from the body and thus prevents formation of disease. It is a cleansing therapy to strengthen the body’s metabolic functions with herbal medicines and controlled food habits. The basis of the therapy is elimination. As the wastes and excess of doshas are eliminated from the body the person becomes healthy. Those who suffer from chronic disease are said to benefit by it tremendously. In Ayurvedic terms, it also helps those who undergo a seasonal imbalance of tridoshas.
Acupressure Therapy - Acupressure is known by different names like Zone therapy, Reflexology, Shiatsu, Pointed Pressure therapy, Contact therapy, Concentrated Massage or Acupressure without needles. It is probably the oldest system of natural treatment in the world based on scientific technique of massage or pressure. It is drugless and safe treatment which stimulates blood supply and nervous systems of body.It has both curative and preventive effect and a unique system to diagnose the proper functioning of different internal organs.
