Ayurveda - Ayurveda is an ancient & natural system of medicine, healing the root-cause of illness and purifying body, mind, & soul .Its focus covers health, career, relationships & spiritual life with herbs, nutrition, aromas, yoga, mantras, life-purpose & many more other aspects of life & nature. Ayurveda (a Sanskrit word meaning the 'science' or 'wisdom of life') is an ancient philosophy based on a deep understanding of eternal truths about the human body, mind and sprit. Unlike orthodox medicine, it is not based on the frequently changing finding of specific research projects, but rather on permanent, wise eternal principles of living.
PANCHKARMA - The pre-procedures are called "Poorva Krama" and consists of digestion (Pachana), oleation (Senehan), fomentation (Swedan). Basic objective of "Panchkarma" (Five internal detoxification procedures) is to remove the excessive accumulated toxins, which causes the vitiation of "Dosha" (fault). If any "dosha" is imbalanced, either due to environment or dietary factors it is often difficult to be normalized with diet and drugs alone. Actual "Panchakrama" procedures are always preceded and succeeded with specialized procedures. If used as therapeutic measure they can be done at any time of the year, i.e., at the time the disease occurs. If one uses it as a preventive measure, it should be used at the appropriate time for each "Dosha"
YOGA - The word Yoga comes from the Sanskrit word "Yuj" meaning to yoke, join or unite. This implies joining or integrating all aspects of the individual - body with mind and mind with soul - to achieve a happy, balanced and useful life, and spiritually, uniting the individual with the supreme. In India, Yoga is considered one of the six branches of classical philosophy and is referred to throughout the Vedas - ancient Indian scriptures and amongst the oldest texts in existence. The Upanishads are also broadly philosophical treatises which postdate the Vedas and deal with the nature of the "soul" and universe.
