Sri Narayana Ayurveda Hospital is a hereditary Ayurvedic Hospital Started at Mecode in 1858 by Guru named Narayanan Asan. He was named as Mecode Asan due to his fame in treatment. His followers were DR.N. APPAVOO Asan and DR.A.Narayanan Asan. Fourth generation DR.N.Hariram and DR.Lekshmi Hariram were now managing the Hospital. In 2003 Sri Narayana Ayurveda Hospital was migrated from Mecode to Kaliakkavilai RC Street at newly built Mecode Asan Memorial Building. It is situated in the border of Kerala , 30 km from the international airport Trivandram. Sri Narayana Hospital is an 50 bedded multy speciality Ayurveda Hospital with well equipped panchakarma theatre, stem bath, Mud bath , Yoga, Spa room, Physiotherapy unit, X-ray and clinical laboratory for Diagnosing the disease.
