Vaidyagrama Ayurveda healing village - Coimbatore
Vaidyagrama means a healing village. An assemblage of Ayurveda Vaidyas sharing a common Vision. A community of Ayurveda hospitals, that is authentic and provides authentic treatment, a space that will be green and environment-friendly, a space that follows the principles of Ayurveda and vastu shastra, and is essentially disability friendly, a natural setting with maximum energy conservation and management techniques, a hospital; also a learning facility, an ashram; a spa; a temple of healing, an optimum healing environment, an endeavor, a major step towards the Vision, of Punarnava.
The healing continues when you leave vaidyagrama; hence the more rest you give your body and mind, and the more you continue the medicines and regimen, the better will be the healing. You should plan to carry at least 3 months of herbs/oils (around 10kg) with you for use after treatment; you should stay in touch with your physicians and give them regular feedback to maximise the benefit from the healing process.
Led by Dr. Ramkumar, Ayurveda Vaidya hailing from a traditional Ayurveda family, Punarnava Ayurveda in Coimbatore - South India has a Vision of “Authentic Ayurveda for Universal Well-being”. Establishing an Ayurveda Village in the outskirts of Coimbatore has been one of the activities in pursuit of the objective.
There are Ayurveda centers galore & identifying your right Ayurveda healing space is often a difficult proposition. The world is going the Natural way. Hence the ideal combination of the Ayurveda healing place would be Authentic + Natural. vaidyagrama attempts to cater to the demand of authentic Ayurveda, the traditional way – as well as go natural, the contemporary mode. It will have authentic Ayurveda made contemporary.
Being created with the strong basis of traditional Indian knowledge systems as Vasthu Shastra – the Indian architectural science, , vaidyagrama is traditional Ayurveda for the modern world. The plan and the design of vaidyagrama is in concurrence with the modern architectural norms, as also keeping with the ancient Vasthu Shastra norms as approved by veteran expert from Kerala, Kanippayyoor Narayanan Namboodiri.
Vaidyagrama also follows the principles of an ideal Ayurveda center as prescribed in the classical Ayurveda texts. The commitment is to create a truly natural Ayurveda hospital that is based on the textual dictates, and yet that suits contemporary times.

We aspire to mould your lifestyle and routine in a positive way.We guide the learning Physicians and healers of tomorrows.We have regular prayers and pujas on the campus to enhance the healing vibrations.Vaidyagrama Ayurveda healing village has 6 patient blocks and each block has 4 patient units and 1 treatment block.
Each patient block has four patient units; and each unit has a foyer, bathroom, bedroom and balcony.A verandah from the patient block leads to the treatment units. Two treatment units are part of each patient block. Each treatment room has separate change rooms, treatment rooms and bathrooms. There is a common medicine pantry.
It starts with a consultation wherein your physicians and you get to know each other better. Accordingly an Ayurveda healing program suited to your constitution, health problems and available time is created that is upgraded on a daily basis following regular interaction. The program includes herbal teas and powders, external body treatments, panchakarma (where necessary), simple easy-to-digest vegetarian diet and lots of rest (physical and mental). Daily evaluation is done through consultation and counselling.
