Beth graduated from the Maryland Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Bethesda, MD in 1994 and has been studying and utilizing allergy elimination and desensitization techniques since 1995. Beth is currently certified by the National Commission for Certification of Acupuncturists (NCCA) and is licensed by the state of Maryland (L.Ac.) and by the state of Colorado (L.Ac.)

In addition to Oriental Medicine, Beth has continuing education in advanced BioSET protocals (BioSET Certified Practioner), advanced JMT protocals, advanced NAET protocals, Contact Reflex Analysis and she is a certified enzyme therapist. Additionally, she has training in Orthopedic and Sports Acupuncture, CPR, fitness and nutrition.

She is a professional member of the Acupuncture Association of Colorado (AAC), the American Association of Oriental Medicine (AAOM), the National Alliance of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NAAOM), and the National Sports Acupuncture Association (NSAA).

Beth Owens is a past Vice President of the AAC. Beth created and chaired the AAC Ethics Committee. She is currently serving as a committee member for the NAAOM Ethics Committee. Her work in these areas is serving the community by encouraging the ethical, moral, and professional standards of acupuncturists locally and nationwide.
