Lou firmly had a way to stimulate hair growth, and to do so, you had to start with the scalp. His persistence in developing a solution for baldness met with success in 1983, and his findings were later supported by research conducted at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and the New York University Medical Center. As reported in the medical journal Cell, these researchers found that the source of new hair cells lay not at the base of the hair, as previously believed, but further up the hair follicle, just below the scalp.

Lou started his business of training people how to grow hair in 1991 and today has many success stories to share.
