Ingrid F. Miles is a KRI Certified instructor trained in Kundalini Yoga and Meditation as taught by Yogi Bhajan and was in the first training program to become a certified breathwalk Fitness Instructor. She has recently studied with Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa for certification (The Khalsa Way TM) in offering Prenatal and Postpartum Yoga and Meditation classes.
She has traveled to Nepal and India and studied with Vimala Thakar of India, Gurucharan Singh Khalsa and Mahan Singh Khalsa, masters in the tradition of Kundalini Yoga, Swami Chidananda of the Integral Yoga Institute and with Minister Dorothea Harvey as a student of Comparative Religion. Previously, she was a Corporate Officer/Senior Systems Consultant for bankboston and Vice President of Finance and Administration at Officenet Inc. And volunteered two (2) years in the Middle East as Assistant Director - Friends School in Ramallah where she also taught yoga to the Palestinian Dance Troupe. Ingrid has been practicing meditation and yoga (including Hatha & Kripalu Yoga) for over 18 years. Skills of strength, flexibility, patience, joy and peace within are clearly reflected in her teachings.
She is a wife, mother of 2 sons, mother-in-law and an active community volunteer and has been leading classes in Ipswich since 1993. She has also taught in British Columbia, Israel and Palestine and offers workshops and retreats. For the past 4 years, Ingrid has led 'Leadership and Breakthrough Training' in the form of 'Meditation in Motion' in the White Mountains of NH with yoga at the top. She has previously trekked and climbed in the Himalayas and Canadian Rockies.
